This MB-D16 multi-power battery pack is for use with all Nikon digital cameras that lists the MB-D16 as a compatible accessory in the camera manual. The MB-D16 takes one EN-EL 15 rechargeable Li-ion battery or six AA batteries (alkaline, Ni-MH, or Lithium) and includes an alternate shutter-release button, AE-L/ AF-L button, multi se-lector, and main and sub-command dials for taking pictures in “tall” (portrait) orientation.
